Pre-Recap Information:

Between Jack & Joker (which I’m also recapping) and this show, I’m here for all the comedy-action BL that Thailand wants to give me. Don’t get me wrong, my enthusiasm for action and crime is not because I’m eager for gunfights and car chases (not hat we’d get the latter with these budgets). I’m more interested in how tense, emotional situations bring out the feels in our guys. Our guys being Min and Q.

Min is a stuntman in a desperate financial situation due to his younger brother’s medical bills. He takes a job from a shady friend to kidnap a rich guy, Q.

Q suffers from having too much money and not enough love. He’s spending his days alone at malls and nights getting drunk alone in bars. He could use being kidnapped by a nice, caring guy.

Yeah, it’s cliche that our poor kidnapper is the nicest guy and he’s probably really rescuing more than kidnapping the rich guy, but it’s a cliche I like. I want to see our wounded rich guy healed by the warmth of love and family. And I want to see him use his newfound strength to help our nice kidnapper.

As a side note, Min’s shady friend James is played by Title Kirati Puangmalee, who I’ve seen in small parts in Wandee Goodday and We Are, both times playing a nice guy. It’s throwing me that he’s not a nice guy here and I’m curious if they’ll do anything interesting with his character.
