When last we left our time traveler and his admirer, Armin survived being shot, but Thiwthit and Ren escaped.

Then a random present arrives for Armin at home
They’ve got to stop accepting presents from strangers. This one has a threatening note. A bloody cake is sent to the office. Security cameras reveal Thiwthit is back.
Thiwthit tracks down Achi and Lily to get money, and Achi defends Lily. Poor Achi, you are unloved by everyone, including the writers. Thiwthit pulls a knife and I assume gets the money.
Tada, er, guards Armin in the shower. It goes how you’d imagine it would go.
On set, Armin’s character walks Pharit’s like a dog. Tada is jealous, but their relationship is a secret, so he’s forced to hide it.
During an interview, Armin shows the lucky necklace and says his love has the initials TD. That’s enough to make Tada happy, and make Thiwthit lose his mind.
Time for Tada to take advantage of the second wish! And, he wants his final wish to be that death is the only thing that separates them. No! Don’t bring up death!
We cut from shirtless making out to clouds and pigeons making out. Show, are you okay?

Armin and Tada watch Armin’s Death Scene in Bed
Tada flashbacks to the, er, future.
At the award show, after Armin asked Wenai about meeting TD, Tada decided he would meet him. That’s how he wound up sobbing over Armin’s dead body.
Present-day Tada doesn’t tell Armin about these “memories”. But again brings up being terrified of losing him. Armin wonders why he felt that way, but also, dude, you got shot in front of him?
Driving Armin to his last day of filming, Tada opens up about how, before, he could only see a life without him. It seemed like a dream, but we know it’s his life in the other timeline. Now he pictures a future where he might lose Armin, and wants to cherish every moment with him.
He wants to spend every day with him as if tomorrow might be the last time he gets to hold him.

They re-shoot the scene where Armin gets, er, shot
This time, no real bullets were involved, but it still seems like a terrible idea for many reasons. Meanwhile, Thiwthit hires someone to kill Armin and Tada.
Armin has a nightmare about being attacked, and that everything with Tada was a dream. Tada promises he’s there and will never leave him.
The movie is premiering! That’s fast. It’s Armin’s first success in his new life. Janine interrupts a make-up session, leading to some adorable Janine-Wenai time as Wenai tries to give his boss privacy.
Tada and Armin both have something they want to talk about after the Premiere.

Armin thinks he’s about to find true happiness
So something terrible is about to happen. And it does.
Tada isn’t where they were supposed to meet. There’s a phone on the ground, an empty box, and a sign with a marriage proposal. But no Tada.
Thiwthit enters stage left and has a bloody Tada shoved at Armin. He’s in evil villain mode and blames Armin for turning Tada against him. He’s known about Tada’s obsession with Armin. So he turned his love into revenge.
Though he was shot earlier, Wenai charges out and takes some guys down. We also hear police sirens. Armin and Thiwthit fight over the gun. Thiwthit gets it, shoots Armin in the arm, and he falls over the railing. Tada catches him, but Armin feels that this is his fate. At least it wasn’t as stupid a death.
Thiwthit beats at Tada. Armin says he loves him and forces Tada to let go. Moments later, the cops grab Thiwthit. If Armin had just waited a tiny bit longer.

Armin’s Second Hospital Stay
Poor, traumatized Tada cries at his bedside. We finally learn that Thiwthit hired someone to poison him that night in the other timeline. The same guy who switched the bullets in this timeline.
Future-alternate-timeline Tada felt immeasurable guilt because of his family’s involvement. He asked that Armin come back so he could see him one more time. He wouldn’t watch from the sidelines anymore. He’d fix everything, love him, and protect him with his life. Then I think he… dies of a broken heart?
In this timeline, Tada often dreams of the lifetime where he lost Armin. That’s why he revealed himself and saved him again and again. He asks Armin to come back and wraps his hand in the good luck charm.
He begs Armin for one last chance. Birds! Sunset! Sky!

Armin wakes up, sees Tada, and cries
Tada blames himself for everything, but Armin is relieved it’s now truly over. His future will be free. Tada will make sure no one harms him again and will be by his side every day.
There’s a lot of episode left, thankfully, Armin looks great for someone who nearly died twice in a year. They go to the premier. Wenai is okay! Sam is there, but he’s dumped cheating Charlie. Ren is still on the run. They talk about the choices people make.
Armin feels that life is a game. He knows that everyone here is just chasing what they want. But this time, things are different. Some people change, some don’t.
Jeed is alive and catering with Phat! With a little business help from Tada.
Armin wants to keep their love a secret. The day they were going to propose didn’t exactly go well. Janine worries Tada won’t understand. Tada talks to Wenai at the same time. He doesn’t want to pressure Armin when he knows he wants to keep it secret.

Thiwthit gets sentenced to 20 years in prison
We see him talking to a leaf at what might be a mental health facility. Then he sobs on the ground, upset over what he’s done. Armin VOs that some may want to repent too late.
But Armin wants a new life, better than before. It’s going to involve a big bowl of onions. He’s losing weight for a role and makes a fussy Tada a special bento.
Tada loses the bento and puts the whole company on alert. Wenai, of course, finds it. Since there’s still no Instagram yet, Tada uses his camcorder to record himself eating the meal. Then, he makes Wenai help him with yet another surprise.
He invites Armin to meet him at the bridge where they first met as kids. Armin thanks those instant noodles he gave young Tada for saving his life. Thanks to Tada, he realized the point of having a second chance was to take a new path to bring him happiness and success.
Then he walks him over to where he has cardboard cutouts of himself holding the bento box. He does the fireworks thing and pulls out a ring!
He wants to be Armin’s present. Armin goes in for a kiss. Tada takes that as his answer. Hugging! More kissing!

We get that time skip, but it’s not so bad
We’re in 2025. Tada and Armin are still happy, in love, making out, and having sex. What more could they want?
It’s the day Armin died in his past life, and he wants to live it to his fullest.
He wins a different award! This time he talks about his past life, like, the first one. And dying. And Tada, and how he changed his life. He confesses his love in front of everyone. Tada gets to hand him the bouquet directly.
We end on hashtags and kissing. Janine huddles close to Wenai.

Poor Achi, we hardly knew ye
I hope he’s okay?
Achi aside, I’m pleased with this ending. My biggest note for the creators is that Thiwthit was pretty flat. He’s an over-the-top soap opera villain who fits the tone, but it doesn’t make sense that Tada didn’t crush him ages ago. It would have been nice for Tada to have a reason to care for him or be extra wary of him.
I also wonder if Armin needed to almost die twice in these last 3 episodes. I worry about Tada.
But there are small complaints.
I love Armin’s conclusion that he came back not for revenge, but for a happier path. And compared to the other “redo” shows I’ve seen, the Korean and Japanese Marry My Husband, and Perfect Marriage Revenge, this one was lighter on the revenge.
They baked it into the plot from the beginning. Armin never knew who poisoned him, and Tada didn’t remember, so they couldn’t focus on one villain. Certainly, Armin started out wanting to take on everyone, but around the middle, his attitude shifted to protecting himself and others.
I love this. It paints a picture of a kinder universe that’s not sending people back for retribution, but for happiness.
And it kept the center of the story on the romance. Tada and Armin were perfect freaks for each other. I agree with the universe, they deserve to be together.
I can easily see myself rewatching this show.
