When last we left the good cop and the bad cop, Jade was getting beaten up.

Now he’s on a stretcher being wheeled into the hospital
Kamin is there too, looking worried. I have no idea how they found Jade, and he looks fine. Then, Kamin gets a threatening text calling this a “welcome message”.
Jay knows about Wild Hunt, it’s where rich people do drugs. Not that Jay has ever done drugs. Not that I believe anything Jay says.
In the hospital room, Jade jokes that the only part of him that’s hurting is his heart. I can believe it, since he has no bandages or visible wounds. Kamin kisses Jade to prove he’s worried and wants him to be careful.
Later, Kamin learns from some informant about illegal boxing matches at Wild Hunt. It’s being investigated by Yu, who may have had a thing with Jade, and his partner Lee.

Kamin rescues Jade from a BL wipedown by his brother
Jade wants to define his relationship with Kamin, who says it’s one of those superior/subordinate style kissing-wiping-down relationships. Until the case is over, that’s the most he’ll say.
But he’s signed the lease agreement. So it’s love.
At the station, Kamin questions Cherreen and Tonkla. He believes they’re hiding a secret, but he’s not sure if it’s because of love or their own involvement.
The secret, I think, is that Cherreen and Champ were together even before Fai died. Tonkla, who has feelings for Cherreen that she doesn’t return, is upset.
Neither of them shows any interest in the footage of Tonkla’s hit-and-run. He claims Champ helped him get rid of the body, and Cherreen was not involved. But from her expression, that may not be true.
Cherreen thinks Time is worse, because he secretly records himself having sex and sells the clips, while his cop father protects him.

I don’t know what any of that info does for Kamin
Moving on, Seon Jae, who seems to be facing no consequences for putting a cop in the hospital, invites Kamin to Wild Hunt. This is Kamin’s chance to investigate the drug angle, and Jade insists on coming too.
Jade gives Kamin a magnet that I guess is show merch. I dunno.
Next, they search Fai’s room. They find a Dare card that says that if she dies, she’ll see her friends’ true colors. Whether truth or dare, they all have to die.
Kamin decides this proves she got the first letter.
Fai’s mother reveals that her daughter was pregnant, and our cops theorize she’s the friend Bell took to have an abortion.
Jay had no idea Fai was pregnant, though it turns out he slept with her once. It meant nothing, and Fai told him to pretend it never happened. Jade is upset that he didn’t tell him, and Jay yells at him for never listening. Jay seems unaware that all his horrible friends are dying.
Now Kamin gives Jade a different magnet. It’s love. Or merch?

Wild Hunt does not look like a classy, rich people’s place
There are used condoms on the ground. Ew. Jade and Kamin have to hide from some people in a tight space, getting very close. But it’s just Yu and Lee.
After introductions, they split up. Kamin gets a gun in the back and is taken to meet Seon Jae. He’d like to pay Kamin to keep quiet. Kamin would like to arrest him. Guns come out, and Kamin demands to know who Seon Jae sells drugs to.
Meanwhile, Tokla is working after hours at the garage when the Truth or Dare murderer attacks him. They stick Tonkla under the car and lower it onto him until he admits he sold Fai’s clip to Time for money. Then they crush Tonkla to death so he can use his money in hell.
Seon Jae’s guys have forced Jade into a boxing cage. If Jade loses, Kamin will resign. If he wins, Seon Jae will go to prison. Nothing about this bet feels real.
Hearing this over an earpiece, Jade wants to know if he’ll get what he asked for from Kamin if he wins. Kamin says yes. And in the post-ending clip, we see that Jade asked Kamin to move into his bedroom. This feels real.

Everyone watches as Jade boxes a big, burly man
He holds his own, even when people are throwing broken bottles and chairs into the ring.
Maybe because Jade is doing well, Seon Jae tries to shoot Kamin. Yu runs in to help while Lee stays behind to… watch Jade box. Yu keeps Kamin from being shot, and then they do nothing as Seon Jae runs away.
Jade does a cool final wrestling move on the boxer and then passes out because he got a little stabbed. He’s only a little unconscious and wakes to worry about Kamin.
Kamin is fine. He’s worried about Jade, who is at least bleeding this time.

As promised, Kamin moves into Jade’s bedroom
And threatens to make Jade sleep on the floor. But considering Jade’s repeated injuries, he lets him share the bed. He knows Jade wants sex, but he’s hurt. So. Later.
But cuddling is okay. Not that we get a good camera shot of it. WHY SHOW WHY?
The next morning, Tonkla’s body is discovered. Also, Jay’s. But, he’s alive. He showed up late to see Tonkla being murdered and got whacked over the head by someone in black who wasn’t murdering Tonkla.
At the scene, Kamin notices that the car he saw earlier is gone.
Inappropriate-flirting-Doctor-Tankhun assures Jade that his brother will be fine. Jade seems more upset that the doctor has Kamin’s number. Tankhun explains that Tonkla was crushed to death by a heavy object. Like the car he’s under.
They find a fake Truth card on the ground, because they have the real one.

At the hospital, it maybe occurs to Jay that his friends are dying
He cries and apologizes to Jade. He remembers that Tonkla’s attacker was a man, but I don’t know how he knows this.
Outside, Jade has doubts about his brother, but Kamin doesn’t think he’s that ruthless or capable. They also wonder if someone on their side has to be involved.
Back to the drugs with Yu and Lee. They found the drugs they were looking for, but no customer list.
After Jade leaves, Kamin grills Yu and Lee about Jade. Yu and Jade never dated, but they go way back. Jade was dismissed from the Special Investigation Unit for helping Yu during a test. He was deemed too emotional.
But Yu thinks that’s his strength. He asks Kamin to take care of Jade.

Kamin saw an engineering jacket in that suspicious car
He suspects it belongs to one of our group of students.
Tankhun tells Kamin that Tonkla’s body tested positive for ketamine. Again, he tries to ask Kamin out. But this time, it finally hits him that Jade and Kamin are a thing, and he should stop already.
Jay is back to acting oblivious about reality and teases Jade about Kamin. Jade suddenly worries he’s too emotional and hot-headed for Kamin, but Jay encourages him to be himself.
Kamin calls the not-flirty doctor who handled Fai’s body and asks him to run tests to check for ketamine on her body.
At the office, Jade and Kamin get flirty. Kamin pokes Jade’s wound (not a euphemism), but when he seems ready to get more sensual, Jade leaves for noodles.
We briefly see that Time has the car Kamin is searching for. He’s looking for someone he “did things” for, and someone in dark clothing shows up.
Thanks to rain and traffic, Jade and Kamin are sharing a tiny futon in Kamin’s office for the night. Kamin brings up Jade’s past, but Jade is over it. He’s only thinking about Kamin.
Kamin finally admits they are more than boss and subordinate, and have been that way for a long time. Jade’s the only one who didn’t notice. Then Kamin goes in for the kiss! Jade doesn’t back off, shirts are coming off! Goal!!!!!
Post ending, back at the crime scene, Jade and Kamin worry about receiving their own truth or dare letter. Jade swears he’ll do whatever he can to protect Kamin, and not just out of duty. And he kisses him!

I think the writers were just given “cool” scenes to link together
Everything feels so disconnected and lacking consequences.
But let’s work with what we’ve got. I still think we have different killers at play. Maybe the students are getting the Truth or Dare killer outfit and assignments to kill each other. Current guess: Champ killed Tonkla, and Cherreen whacked Jay over the head, since those two are always together.
Jade’s suggestion that someone on their side is involved has me eyeing our doctors. Especially the one who only seems to be involved in Fai’s death. Is it possible he’s related to Fai? The show has been making a point about characters who have connections getting away with things.
But I can’t imagine why someone would kill Fai so that she can understand that her friends all suck. Or how murdering Fai and then killing everyone else as revenge would work. Or did Fai die by suicide, and the Truth or Dare card was planted later?
Not sure.
Romance-wise, I hope Kamin and Jade are now TOGETHER together. We’ve never gone deep enough in their characters to know what’s stopping either of them, so I’m ready for them to commit already. They’re already living together AND they have a murder to solve!
