When last we left Prince and the Rebel, they were in the water, about to play with each other’s snakes.

Only now the subs are saying fish, but I like snakes better
Their snakes don’t get any playtime because they hear guards coming. Kosol lures them away off-screen, leaving Prince/Worradej crying alone in the forest, on-screen.
Prince/Worradej bravely picks up a sword when they hear someone coming, but it’s Kosol. They sob in his arms, but claim it’s because they didn’t want to be alone. Then they hit him. Kosol promises he won’t shy away from danger, but every time he returns, it’ll be to them. These two love to be dramatic.
Also, he’s still naked.
Later, Kosol rubs mosquito-repelling basil on Prince/Worradej, which is a real thing I didn’t know about and must smell amazing. Prince/Worradej calls him nice. Kosol says he just doesn’t want them to die of Malaria. Dramatic and unable to be honest about feelings.

Prince/Worradej badgers Kosol about Worradej’s desire
Kosol knows about the poetry with Banjong and doesn’t care. He’s impressed by how much Prince/Worradej has changed. In the past, Kosol tried to teach Worradej to curse people out, but he was too nice.
Prince/Worradej defends Worradej’s right to be themselves, but Kosol explains that he wanted to be stronger to reach his goal. What goal? Kosol goes in for a kiss.
Maybe Worradej just wanted help kissing a man? Easy. Done. Can Prince/Worradej go home now?
Nope. Kosol pulls Worradej in for a nice cuddle on banana leaves with branch pillows.

Bunny for breakfast!
The plan is to go to Banjong’s, since Prince/Worradej is too delicate for the forest. They don’t argue. But first, they make Kosol go back to the water to splash and pose and flirt.
Unfortunately, Noble Father is looking for them. The King is also there, slowing everyone down and making noise. Kosol hears and takes Prince/Worradej’s hand to make them run, but they’re not good at running.
He wants Prince/Worradej to get onto his back, despite the two words already there, but the guards catch them. Kosol fights, but is overwhelmed and takes Prince/Worradej hostage.
The King forces everyone to stand there while they escape. This is the only reason they escape, because they stop to argue about how Kosol cares about people.

At Banjong’s, the bickering continues, now with Pandao
Some of Pandao’s dislike of Prince/Worradej seems to be because she likes Kosol. Poor Banjong sits there.
Later, Prince/Worradej talks to Banjong about the poetry. Banjong admits Worradej confessed to him, but was rejected. The poem is about how the sun and moon can’t be together, like them. Because Banjong is a commoner, and his parents were worked to death by nobles. He can’t get past Worradej being a noble.
Now Prince/Worradej is convinced that Worradej loved Banjong, and this led to his suicide. So Worradej’s desire is Bajong’s love.
Jade shows up at night, and Prince/Worradej makes him share their bed despite being a servant. The next morning, Jade wants to pamper Prince/Worradej, but Pandao bursts in and flings water in their face. Kosol is missing.
After some pointless arguing about who did it, Banjong gets a report that Kosol will be doing that walk-through-the-fire thing. Prince/Worradej runs off to convince the King that Kosol is innocent.
Once he’s gone, Pandao and other rebels try to convince Banjong that Prince/Worradej has betrayed the group again.
Prince/Worradej forces the guards outside the King’s to have a wine picnic with them until they pass out. Then they have to climb over the wall, which happens with help from Jade and editing.

A shot rings out! And Prince/Worradej falls!
Banjong shot him! He does the sad Charlie Brown walk through the marketplace, but looks less upset when he pays the guards to get inside the prison and see Kosol.
Kosol wants to know about Prince/Worradej, but Banjong puts him off. Kosol declares that the day he walks through fire will be the day they claim victory! Somehow that we don’t get to know!
Jade pays the guards next and tells Kosol about the shooting. Kosol teaches Jade how to knock people out, and he’s a surprisingly good student. But once inside, the King discovers him.
Prince/Worradej dreams of the forest again. Worradej wants to know if they’ve found his desire yet. They’re completely confident that it’s getting Banjong’s love. It’s just that they have things to do with Kosol first…
But Worradej explains it’s about both Banjong and Kosol. Prince/Worradej isn’t sure they can get a thruple working in this time period, but Worradej didn’t die because of love. His desire is the same as Prince’s. He repeats this over and over again.
Prince/Worradej wakes up sparkly with a bandaged arm. The King and Jade explain they were barely injured, but maybe they hit their head.

The King knows Noble Father and that other guy are plotting against him
He never intended to force Kosol into the trial by fire. The plan is to save him first. But, he hasn’t come up with how.
So now Prince/Worradej pays the guards to get into the prison. Kosol is glad they’re okay, but expresses it in a stern, Kosol way. Prince/Worradej tells him that the King will save him, but Kosol wants the trial. He won’t let Prince/Worradej break him out.
Banjong, Pandao, and the rest of the rebels flee Bajong’s place for Kosol’s. Their rebellion isn’t secret anymore.
Prince/Worradej wants Kosol to tell them the plan, but this just leads to suggestive grabbing through the bars, then kissing. No plans are revealed.
Noble Father arrives at the jail, I don’t think he bribed anyone, to confront Kosol. He’s captured Banjong and the rest and will kill them unless Kosol reveals the plans. Kosol knows they escaped, so Noble Father forbids him food and drink.

Once he’s gone, Prince/Worradej still can’t convince Kosol to run
So Prince/Worradej kisses a guard to get thrown in prison. Worradej’s desire is far from their mind.
The King admires Jade’s loyalty to Worradej so much that he forces him to be his page and rock him in a hammock.
Prince/Worradej gets points for being honest about feelings first, when they tell Kosol they care about him and don’t want him to die. But Kosol won’t share the plans because he worries about Prince/Worradej, too. The more Kosol loves them, the less he can tell them, but his heart is theirs. Prince/Worradej is frustrated, but settles into an awkward prison cuddle to sleep.
They wake up hungry, but here’s Jade with some food! Tucked in his pants.
Then Jade kisses a guard to get thrown in jail with them. The King is upset he’s already lost his page.

The guards find Banjong, and he gives himself up to protect everyone
This means all four of our main characters are together in the prison, two by kissing, two by acts against the King.
Kosol drags Bajong away to speak privately in the corner of the small room. He knows Banjong shot at Prince/Worradej, and is not happy. But Prince/Worradej is frustrated they’re hiding things from them. Banjong wants to tell Prince/Worradej the plan, but Kosol doesn’t.
This conflict devolves into a competition, with Prince/Worradej laying their head in Jade’s lap, and getting him to stroke their hair and spank their butt. So, Kosol gets Banjong’s head in his lap and strokes his hair and spanks his butt. Next come the goodnight kisses, and Banjong can’t escape his fate.
Noble Father arrives again to laugh at everyone and threaten to make everyone walk in fire. Kosol says it should only be him walking in fire, and Banjong wants Prince/Worradej and Jade set free.
Noble Father drags Prince/Worradej out and is ready to beat them, when the King interrupts.

These episodes felt sillier than the first two
And didn’t move with quite the same speed. Maybe because most of the fourth episode took place in the prison. I missed that flow, but I enjoyed the classic comedy feel where one by one they all ended up together in the only prison cell in the kingdom. Those poor guards.
And I think it’s cute that when they can’t figure out how to film something (Kosol leading the guards away, Prince/Worradej getting over the wall), they just skip it.
Back to the story. Prince has adapted to being in the past, but he’s so much more interested in Kosol than in figuring out how to get home.
I don’t blame him. I like how different Prince and Kosol’s interactions are from typical BLs. Prince has kissed three people besides Kosol, one in front of him, and Kosol has kissed one other person in front of him, and I don’t think it really matters to either of them. Not that they aren’t possessive of each other, but it’s a different possessive.
But it’s not love yet either. Prince is in lust and cares about Kosol, but I don’t sense it’s serious for them yet. Kosol is in love with Worradej, not Prince, and I have no idea how that’ll get sorted out. I love their drama, but I want quieter, sincere moments from them too. What will it be like when Kosol isn’t acting tough and knows it’s Prince, not Worradej? What will happen when Prince genuinely wants Kosol, and not just his body? I’m here with the hope they get there.
