Pre-Recap Information:

I am watching this show 100% because our lead, Prince, is wearing high heels in the poster. The world needs more femmes.

Also, because I really enjoyed seeing Not-Way constantly roll his eyes in Pit Babe Season 2. The world needs more sass.

And I like Ping, who didn’t get to do much in either Pit Babe season but has what I think is a more unique look among the pantheon of Thai BL actors. The world needs more Ping.

This is all to say, my reasons for wanting to watch this show are fairly superficial.

I have never read the original Webtoon (not currently available legally anywhere in English). I understand that parts of the internet are upset by the changes made to the original story. And I know what it is to love a story and be frustrated by minor changes (see: me whining about My Beautiful Man) never mind the big changes people are worried about here.

I get it, but in this case, it doesn’t apply to me. There will be no comparisons to the Webtoon here.

I’m here to see a queer femme go back in time and get romanced by a big strapping dude who knows how to use a sword. That’s it!

I’m not sure what the correct pronouns are for Prince

I don’t understand Thai or how Thai gendered pronouns/language work. I also don’t trust subtitles. But when told they’re in the women’s bathroom, the subtitles show Prince responds by asking when the world will stop dividing people into male and female, so I’ll use English’s gender neutral pronouns for now. If I get a good reason to change them, I will and note it here.
