Pre-Recap Information:
Even though I’ve recently recapped Khemjira and Goddess Bless You From Death, apparently, I’m not done with ghosts. In fact, I’m ready to let go of the simplistic idea that ghosts are only to be feared and embrace them as potential romantic partners.
Honestly, past-life romances are not generally my thing. Like the idea of pre-destination, it rubs uncomfortably against my need to believe in free will. I’d prefer that the universe and my past lives allow me to make my own decisions, thank you.
But I’ve already watched our leads, Billy and Babe, play this game in The Sign. Which was an uneven past-lives-supernatural-action-adventure that I recapped. I’m in the mood to support them for various reasons, and apparently, that means watching them deal with reincarnation, tragedy, death, and all that fun stuff again.
To be fair, besides the past lives stuff, we have an entirely different set-up from that earlier show.
One of our guys isn’t even alive, but a ghost haunting his estate, waiting for his chance to reunite with his lover. The current version of his lover is a poor artist struggling with past-life nightmares and modern-day finances in the 1940s. He has no idea that a ghost is obsessed with him.
Outside of that, I don’t know much about what I’m getting into, except that strangers on the internet have complained that it’s slow. I’m usually game for slow, so I’ll see what the show has to offer besides of a leisurely pace.
