When last we left our Pink Bunny and Mysterious Stranger, our Pink Bunny passed his audition. With a little help.

A quick flashback to his Pink Bunny era
Back then, he was handing out flyers when, nearby, those guys threatened Jay. It’s not until one of them says a beating is Jay’s karma that Sun comes running in to save him.
Then, we get the most epic Pink-Bunny-versus-random-guys battle ever. After that, our leads don’t meet each other’s eyes because of the costume, but they look in each other’s direction.
Back in the present, Jay makes it clear he overheard Bank’s nasty phone convo about getting rid of Khajorn’s new guy. Bank claims it’s a prank, and Jay tells him to leave.
Sun comes out, and Jay says he knows Bank is the target of his revenge. He advises Sun that he needs backers. But Jay knows Sun doesn’t want Jay as a backer. He wants Director Arthur. Which is Jay, right?
Sun admits nothing. Jay admits nothing.

If Sun wants Jay’s help, he should think about how to pay him for it
Later, Sun, Sky, Khajorn, and Khajorn’s daughter enjoy a celebratory meal. Khajorn plans for Sun’s photo shoot and acting classes and a resume and… Sun doesn’t have a police record. Right?
Poor Khajorn.
After quitting his shipping job, Sun vows to devote himself entirely to revenge. Then he gets a haircut.
Khajorn thinks he looks charming yet pitiful now. Accurate.
Sweet Sky rushes from school to accompany them to Sun’s first photoshoot. Only, all the photographers are out shooting an outside event.
Also, the acting teacher isn’t taking on any new students. For Reasons.
Bank is behind all of this.

Sun calls Jay, he needs a backer, and offers himself as payment
Then Sun gets Khajorn to take him to the best photographer in the industry, the notoriously difficult and exclusive Phakin. Sun implies to Khajorn that he’s got someone backing him.
But Phakin doesn’t agree to take Sun’s photos until Sun takes his shirt (and nearly pants) off. After fondling and insulting Sun, Phakin agrees to take his photos if Sun will model nude for him sometime. Deal.
Sweet Khajorn worries about Sun having nude pictures taken. It’s not great for a mainstream actor. And why did he agree to that when he has a backer?
Actually, there was no backer involved. Sun pulled it off himself because Khajorn believed in him. Khajorn is touched.
But when Sun gets his pictures taken, he looks stiff and lifeless. Frustrated, Phakin urges Sun to think about his trauma and losses. Sun’s eyes get sad as he remembers his brother and his mother.
Perfect! Photos done!

Khajorn gets in trouble for ranting at the acting teacher
But when Bank calls to gloat over Sun’s failure, Khajorn puts him on speaker for his boss to hear. When Khajorn gloats in return about Phakin photographing Sun, Bank says that no one Khajorn represents will ever survive in the industry.
Khajorn is off the hook with his boss.
Also, Sun set this up to find out Jay’s true identity. Sun asked Jay to order Khajorn’s boss to scold him. Now, Sun can ask Khajorn’s boss who ordered him to scold Khajorn.
But Jay anticipated this, and Khajorn’s boss has been told to reply: “Am I big enough, Mr. Two-Baht?” Since Two-Baht refers to the money Sun gave Jay for a cigarette, he’s been outsmarted.
Jay texts Sun to meet him at a club called Alice’s Labyrinth. There, Sun is led into a special room that looks like an office, with books and scripts everywhere.
For that one favor, Jay names another insanely high price to add to the insanely high price of the cigarette. Sun still only has himself to offer.

Then the show does TWO fake-outs
First, showing Jay pushing Sun down and giving him an aggressive kiss. Except this is revealed to be after some innuendo about how they both want to top the other. Except the kiss is all in Sun’s head.
I’m deducting points, show.
Also, we see Pink Bunny riding Jay during sex again. Right after, Sun remembers his brother’s murderer’s voice asking, “Do you believe in karma?” That’s a mood killer.
Anyway, Jay makes Sun watch some short films and asks his opinion on them. Dream Entertainment is thinking of expanding into making movies, and I think this is a kind of test of Sun’s tastes. Since Sun liked the films by the director Jay also liked, I think he passes.
Jay reveals he hired a private detective and knows Sun’s entire backstory. Except he thinks Sun wants revenge on Bank for taking his money and running.
More “who will top” innuendo leads to Jay giving Sun a USB with an audio clip of Bank. There’s nothing too interesting there, just more of Bank telling someone to stop Sun from succeeding. I think the point is that Jay is a part-owner of the club and can spy on the industry people who visit.
Sun finally admits he wants help getting into Director Arthur’s circle and becoming the number one actor at Dream. So Jay gives him some scripts to read and summarize.

Khajorn gives Sun an expensive camera for acting class
One he bought with his own money. Yup. At some point during class, it ends up in a toilet with pee in it. Sun tries to rescue it for Khajorn’s sake but… Yeah, no.
Everyone in the class seemed fine except for one bully, the son of a rich investor who sponsors his career. Probably we’re supposed to believe he ruined the camera. We’ll see.
Khajorn and Sun watch Sky perform in a play about destiny, betrayal, and revenge. Sun is so impressed that he feels like he better understands acting.
On his next visit to Alice’s Labyrinth, Sun meets a man in a corduroy jacket who demands to know about his relationship with Jay. Sun can tell he’s actually a nice guy and asks HIM about Jay instead.

Corduroy Jacket says Jay is a Perfect Angel
Jay interrupts to make Sun watch more films and read more scripts. And get fondled.
Sun falls asleep in the process, and Jay smiles and gets close. When Sun wakes, Jay wants to know if he’s ever bottomed.
Sun has only bottomed once. We know it was when he was in that Pink Bunny costume with Jay. I don’t think either of them knows that. Maybe.
Jay tells Sun he’s looking for someone he slept with 5 years ago. Sun doesn’t appear to connect that to his one experience bottoming 5 years ago. Or overhearing that Director Arthur is looking for someone from 5 years ago.
In the next acting class, Sun gets stuck sparring with the bully. The bully thinks Sun is gossiping behind his back. Before the match starts, Some Guy warns Sun that if he hurts the bully, it could get him and his manager in trouble.
So, Sun takes a beating that leaves his chest and stomach black and blue.
Then two trainees who didn’t seem bad take Sun to Alice’s Labyrinth. They casually talk about using sex work to get a major backer, and then it’s okay if you aren’t famous. Sun wants to know if that’s what Bank has done.
No answer, because Sun learns he’s expected to do sex work in return for being brought into the club. I think. When he’s reluctant, the creep demanding a blow job threatens to get rid of Sun and his manager. Then, another guy pulls a gun on Sun to force him to kneel.
Everyone watches and waits to see what Sun does next.

Sun’s soft spot is his desire to protect and help others
Despite being a ruthless debt collector in the past. Which he was doing for money to care for his family and Bank. Which he only got into because he was trying to protect that random school administrator from being set on fire.
And now he has Khajorn and Sky to protect. It’s nice because it gives his stone-faced, somewhat alien-seeming character some vulnerability.
He even saved Jay that one time. But now their roles are, er, reversed. Jay has all the power and is helping Sun. Maybe.
But why is Jay looking for the Pink Bunny? Is it love? Or more revenge in this revenge story? If it is love, why is he flirting with Sun so aggressively? Has he figured out Sun’s the Pink Bunny? He had a private detective look into him.
Does Sun want Director Arthur as a backer only because he heard Bank talk about him? I get the feeling Director Arthur is one of the most powerful people in the company. Is that it?
These two episodes were about pushing our stone-faced, alien-seeming Sun to see how far he’ll go for revenge. I want to know the answer.
I’d also like to know how far Jay will go to help Sun get revenge, and what he hopes to get from it.
