When last we left our omegaverse-ish soap opera, Babe was sulking, Charlie was jealous, Jeff was lying, North and Sonic were awkward, and Tony was undead.

Also, Babe got hit by a car off-screen
They’re running tests on Charlie at the lab when they find out. Pete and Not-Way argue over cutting the experiment short, proving Pete has feelings and Not-Way is all business. Pete wins.
Babe is fine, but Jeff’s in trouble with Alan when he learns the visions are back. Alan seems more upset about the lying and less upset about Jeff being hurt. Taking a cue from Babe, he storms off.
Jeff asks Charlie for relationship help. Charlie suggests sex.
At the lab, they confirm Jeff’s powers are evolving. They’re worried that if he has a vision of someone dying, he might die too. They need that skill-nullifying thing working fast to keep him alive.

The bet Willy lost in the last episode means nothing
He comes to Babe’s hospital room, eats his food, and says mean things about Charlie. Charlie arrives, and after Willy leaves, Charlie admits he’s feeling insecure. Babe reassures him, and there’s hugging, but no sex in the hospital.
Pete finds Kenta smoking in his place. He’s there to warn them that Tony is back. Pete has everyone come over so that Kenta can repeat that to them. Babe declares he’s not afraid of Tony. But Kenta points out Babe probably ended up in the hospital because of him.
Back at home, Charlie gives Babe the traditional BL wipe down. Now they have sex.
Later, everyone tries to figure out the Tony-back-from-the-dead thing. Alan is still cold with Jeff, and I catch Dean giving Jeff some meat. Are we in for more jealousy?
Jeff remembers from his vision that the driver was using one hand, and Babe agrees it might have been Willy.

More importantly, there’s a race coming up
Despite an injured arm, Babe is determined to compete. He feels Charlie is doing enough because of the medical testing. This way, Babe can keep his eye on Willy at the tracks. I guess this makes sense?
Pete unloads Kenta onto Kim and focuses on flirting with Not-Way. Working on the Tony mystery, he asks Not-Way if someone’s powers could make them immortal. Not-Way thinks this is absurd.
Sonic gives North a charm. I miss Sonic’s fluffy jacket from last season. Anyway, Willy is awful. The race demonstrates the love triangle, with Babe, Charlie, and Willy vying for first place. Charlie aggressively goes after Willy, but spins out.
Babe wins and runs to Charlie. Once he’s out of the car, Charlie says he thinks he’s lost his senses.

Time to take Charlie back to the lab
Not-Way says Charlie’s powers might really be gone. Babe is upset that Charlie isn’t waking up and annoyed that they want to run more tests. Charlie wakes up and chills him out. Babe makes Charlie promise to stop if “this happens again”. What is this? When did he pass out? Last episode, Babe got hit by a car off-screen. In this episode, Charlie passed out off-screen.
Alan won’t tell Jeff why he’s upset and won’t accept his apology, so things are going nowhere. Jeff goes to Charlie for advice again. He admits he didn’t want to tell Alan about his power because he didn’t want him to know about “this”. There’s a lot of “this”s going around.
Charlie urges Jeff to talk to Alan and accept whatever comes. So Jeff apologizes to Alan, saying he won’t keep things from him in the future. Alan says it’s about trust. Jeff admits he saw a future where they were not together. That’s what “this” this was.
Alan wants to know if Jeff wants to be with him, and promises he’s not alone. He’ll give him the silent treatment, but won’t leave.
We get hugs and then kisses and then fake ’80s music sex

Willy shows up at Babe’s gym
Babe accuses him of running him over, but Willy says he was training at the time. Naturally, this leads to a sparring match. With no bets that no one plans to honor.
Babe wins, but thinks that Willy let him win because his arm was hurt. He apologizes for misjudging Willy, because he knew Willy was with his team and couldn’t run him over. No, Babe, don’t soften towards him. He’s awful.
Charlie shows Jeff and Alan the couple’s rings he bought. Alan thinks Charlie had better snatch Babe before someone else does. Like Willy?
Alan and Jeff get flirty, but Jeff isn’t ready for further commitment until the visions are gone. But he’ll make out at work.

Pete has a lot of secret lairs
He takes Not-Way to dinner in one. Dinner is sitting, waiting for them in the big empty room.
Not-Way asks about Way, and Pete says Way wasn’t his ex. But when he left Tony, Way had the burden of being the only Enigma. He got the brunt of Tony. So he feels guilty? Or sympathy?
Or sexy? They both get drunk and have sex on the floor.
Later, Pete gives Not-Way some post-sex tea, literal tea in a cup, and talks about round two when Kenta and Kim show up. Kenta, right now, needs to go to where he was dumped. Because he’s just remembered parts of that night. I didn’t know he didn’t remember it.
Perfect timing, because an evil black van with mysterious vials is there. It takes off, but they have the vials. At the lab, Not-Way plays chemistry and notices a similarity with whatever they’re working on.
Jeff has a nose-bleed inducing vision, and sees that Tony also has a lab, where he’s torturing his volunteers. He’s making something to enhance skills.

Charlie gives Babe the rings for his birthday
They’re so happy and in love and everything will be perfect forever and ever.
Meanwhile, Tony is being evil with some other evil-seeming dudes. One of them wants more from Tony than he wants to give, so he has Winner kill him with a cane. I’m distracted by Tony’s amazing statuary.
Then, Tony gets out of the wheelchair and tells Winner to get ready. The real game is about to begin.

Dun dun DUN
I’m glad they never miss a race.
I like that Jeff’s evolving powers’ potential to kill him gives everyone a more personal reason to find that skill-nullifying cure. I didn’t love Alan’s refusing to explain his feelings, but I liked Jeff’s reasons for keeping the secret. I’m curious about the vision that has him scared.
I’m expecting another big fake-out this season. Like Charlie’s death last season. Involving Willy or Alan maybe.
The internet seems to like Willy, but he’s not doing much for me yet. If he gets more personality besides “annoying homewrecker” or does something not about forcing his way into Babe’s personal space, maybe I’ll get on board.
I’m excited to get to more of our side couples. Kenta and Kim are even more fun after watching Long Beans. They’re kinda playing opposites here. Kinda. I think I like Not-Way more than I liked Way, and Pete’s always great. Sonic and North need to be cute and fun together.
Although I also kinda wanna warn Not-Way to Get-A-Way from these people, they’re dangerous. Sorry, that was terrible.
