When last we left our omegaverse-ish soap opera, they’d learned Tony is alive again somehow.

Doing Evil Lab Things
Charlie guesses Tony wants to transform ordinary people into enhanced alphas under his control. They need to find his lab.
Never mind that, it’s racing time! North’s driving is getting better! He makes a big deal out of Babe’s ring because he’s lovely. Everyone but him is coupled up. Perfect timing for Sonic to announce he’s leaving. North runs off to “train”.
Alan butts in while saying he doesn’t want to butt in, pushing Sonic to make it work. Sonic is done being friend-zoned and wants to move on. But also maybe he’ll stay and watch North race a little longer.
North is… spying on them? Can he hear them from that far away?
Speaking of friend-zoned, Not-Way is Not-Interested in anything serious with Pete. Pete goes along with whatever Not-Way wants. But Not-Way agrees to look into a paper trail to find Tony’s lab.

It’s important we know that Alan is feeling old
Because it comes up multiple times. First, he hurts himself at the garage, and Dean makes noises about how Jeff will outlive him. Dean, what is your mission? Alan works out with Babe, but collapses dramatically.
Then he hurts himself more before a BBQ with Charlie, Jeff, and Babe. Charlie points out that sex is cardio. Good point.

Night race time!
Willy offers Babe first place. Babe rejects the offer, but Willy seems to let him win. Afterwards, Babe confronts him and gets in his face. He thinks Willy has special senses. Charlie isn’t happy to see them so physically close.
Not-Way reports in to Pete while they are both drinking, which naturally leads to sex in the pool. Pete points out that they are no longer one-night stands, and Not-Way agrees they can be sex friends outside of work. That’s it.
Then he sneaks onto Pete’s computer while he sleeps, and looks up records on childhood Pete. I think. I had to use a translation app.
Charlie is cold with Babe, but Mama/Papa stuff and a pinkie promise seem to warm him up.

Pete gives Kenta info, but says not to act on it
Of course, Kenta acts on it. He gets information, but is surrounded by bad guys. Kim saves the day by bashing into people with his car and magically transporting Kenta inside.
They go to report to Pete, who is in the middle of a make-out session with Not-Way.
Later, Kim wants to know if Kenta likes Pete. He urges Kenta to tell Pete, but Kenta says Pete knows and doesn’t feel the same. Neither Tony nor Pete ever loved him back.
Kim points out that other people exist.

Babe has a great idea
He follows Willy to a gym, strips down to a tiny towel, and acts like he’s into him so… Somehow he’ll learn if Willy has powers. Instead, Willy overpowers him, a towel drops, and Charlie shows up.
Charlie gets in a punch before Babe pulls him back, magically back in a towel. Charlie runs off, and Babe magically gets his clothes on to chase after him. Babe doesn’t have his ring on, and Charlie hands him his before driving off.
Babe goes to the lab and Alan, but can’t find Charlie. He does not go to Jeff, who helps Charlie relocate to a hotel. Not that I think Jeff would have told him anything, but he’s the obvious best person to ask.
Willy finds Babe at a bar, but it’s just more of the same.
Alan and Jeff want Babe to give Charlie time to cool down, but Babe, being Babe, doesn’t listen. Charlie isn’t interested in listening to Babe either. He wants to know if he has to wait for Babe to sleep with Willy before he’s allowed to be mad.
Babe suddenly brings up the lab, and that Charlie doesn’t have time for him. He wanted to solve the Willy thing so Charlie wouldn’t have to be at the lab and would have time for Babe. He feels like Charlie isn’t paying attention to him. Charlie is cooooooold to Babe’s whining. Maybe he remembers that time Babe bet him in a race.

Pete and Not-Way get involved
When Charlie comes to the lab, they notice he’s physically worn down. They suggest he stop racing and focus on the experiments.
Not-Way tells Pete he thinks Charlie should choose the experiment over love. Pete thinks Charlie will choose the experiment because he loves Babe. If they succeed, Babe will no longer be in danger because of Charlie’s powers. I agree with Pete.
Kim made Korean food for Kenta! Kenta tells Kim he doesn’t trust Not-Way, and Kim thinks he might be jealous.
Not-Way is stress smoking. Pete wants to help him destress with sex, but Not-Way thinks he’s just seeing him as Way. Pete has a lot of patience.

Now Charlie looks for Babe
He finds Willy instead. They have a competition with a bet, but I don’t believe in bets involving Willy.
It’s a Go-Kart race, and ultimately, they tie. After, Willy reports to Tony while Charlie secretly watches. Tony wants Charlie back and everyone around him eliminated. Later, when Babe has a nightmare and tries to reach Charlie, Charlie thinks about what Tony said and ignores the call.

Alan’s body and everything else is falling apart
Alan hurts himself again. Sonic and North have a sad conversation where Sonic points out they are on different paths.
But race time! It’s the same Willy-Charlie-Babe competition. North gets aggressive, but spins out and stalls. Charlie gets super aggressive, and Willy ends up as third.
Babe thinks Charlie is also letting him win. He wants to know if Charlie loves him anymore. Babe is falling apart. Charlie tells him he still loves him, he just needs time.
Babe doesn’t want to give him time, he wants sex. How very Babe. Charlie says he didn’t throw the race, he’s never been able to beat him.
And sex!

What can I say, it’s Pit Babe
Undead human traffickers, races, and gossiping about each other’s sex lives.
The whole “Alan feels old” thing is funny considering Jeff could die from his powers at any minute. I know it’s a set-up for Alan to be a part of Tony’s enhanced human thing. Though I’m betting that’ll be a plot against Tony and not sincere.
I enjoyed our Kenta/Kim actors in Long Beans, but I like their dynamic better here. Kenta is such a sad, impulsive, muscled loner. I’m not sure if Kim likes him yet or not, but I hope we see them become a couple this season.
I really like Not-Way and Pete. Pete is so patient and calm compared to… everyone else. Not-Way is very bossy and cold, but is hiding something. I suspect he’s not working for Tony, and it has more to do with Real-Way, but I’m not sure. I’m hoping we get to see him fall for Pete hard.
Babe and Charlie’s conflict isn’t that interesting, and Willy remains one-note, though I like the actor. But I’m enjoying Pavel’s acting as Babe, doing a complete 180 from how he acted in the first season. Seeing Babe fall apart is worth putting up with some weak story stuff.
