Pre-Recap Information:

Yeah! Season Two! Let’s go let’s go let’s go!

Season One was an entertaining ride that I enjoyed both ironically and unironically. If you want to relive the magic, you can read my recaps of all the episodes.

One of the most interesting things about the original series was its partial commitment to the “omegaverse” aspects of the story. There were alphas and enigmas and jokes about children that could be alluding to male pregnancy — or not. I don’t remember omegas coming up, or other more infamous omegaverse concepts (link is not visually graphic, but the explanation is explicit). All-in-all, it was a watered-down, kinda-here-kinda-knot version of the omegaverse that seemed to confuse people who knew nothing about it.

And one of the things I’m most curious about in Season Two is how much omegaverse we will get. I don’t follow news around shows much, but I know the author has said Season Two will not include omegaverse elements. From the trailer, it looks like Alphas and superpowers are still in play. So, what is being removed? No more jokes about having children in a way that could involve male pregnancy?

Besides that, I’m looking forward to seeing my favorite couple, too-friendly Alan and No-Touch Jeff, get through some more angst and drama together. Will Alan notice if Jeff gets kidnapped this time?

Season One ended with more than half the cast in disappointing states of not-coupled, so I’m looking forward to seeing more of them get their romantic moment.

My expectations for a tense, thriller plot are not high. I just want to have fun watching a messy soap opera that involves superpowers and race cars. Let’s go!

(I will be watching the Uncut version, but don’t expect any sexy recaps from me.)
