Pre-Recap Information:

This drama is by the same writer/director who did I Will Knock You, a show I really enjoyed for it’s off-beat, quirky sense of humor. That’s enough of a reason alone to give it a try.

At the time of this post, I’ve only watched the first episode but I’m already in. Like Knock You, it’s the kind of show people call “weird” when they’re being insulting about something being “different”. (Not that all criticisms of episode 1 are invalid, I’m just annoyed by this one in particular.) For me, the fact that it’s so different is a feature, not a flaw.

And already I’ve seen one Thi-like random shirt.

So far we’ve got a smiling university student unabashedly interested in just about everything paranormal. Lucky for him, the paranormal seems to be everywhere around him. I love the way the show hints at various strange things from the beginning without giving any kind of explanation. I’m curious to see where these things go.

Our vampire isn’t the stereotypical vampire either. He lives in an apartment building near a place that serves some kind of pigs-blood soup and has an odd sense of fashion. Like our university student, he has some odd mannerisms.

Yes, the costumes are cheap and the wig is cheap. I don’t care about that but if that kind of stuff bothers you, this may not be the drama for you. But if you liked I Will Knock You and/or want something “weird” this might be worth giving a try!
