Pre-Recap Information:
What I knew about this show before pressing play on the first episode was:
- Our couple is Net and JJ, who were the third couple in The Next Prince and had barely any screen time
- It’s a time-travel romance
- Maybe I watched the trailer? Not sure.
After watching the first two episodes, I can’t say I know a whole lot more, but let’s get into it.
We’ve got Nakun, a modern-day college student. He reminds me a little of JJ’s character in The Next Prince because he seems aware of societal issues. But the show and Nakun are way sillier than anything in The Next Prince, and Nakun is constantly afflicted by ridiculous bad luck.
Despite that, he’s a rational guy who refuses to believe in the supernatural. Even (initially) when transported back in time.
He has two friends, Thee and Pun. Thee hits on Pun, Pun rolls his eyes at Thee.
Once Nakun is transported back in time, everyone calls him Klao. Klao has two friends, Jom and Kaew, who look like Thee and Pun but with different personalities and dynamics.
Then there is Phop, who is very concerned and involved with Klao.
Nakun is not interested in any of them or what’s going on in their world. Naturally, he just wants to get back home.
Naturally, I don’t want him to just go home. I want to know more about Klao, why Jom seems so done with him, what really happened to Klao, if Phop and him had anything going on before Nakun appeared, and for them to get something on now.
