Pre-Recap Information:
Lately, I haven’t been recapping many school romances. Not because I don’t like them, I think I’ve proven I do, but because they tend to have less plot. That gives me less to work with in my recaps.
But this one is promising plot… eventually?
I say this because as I write this, we’re two episodes in and we’ve mainly set up our main characters and an eventual issue.
So this is what we’ve got so far.
We’ve got Pod, a snarky Science major who Does Not Care For the other lead, Jin. For Some Reason That Hopefully Someday Will Be Revealed.
Jin, an Engineering major, doesn’t seem to have the same issues with Pod. Although he likes teasing Pod, which doesn’t improve Pod’s attitude.
But because of complicated feelings involving Pod’s friend Dunk and Bumm, Pod makes Jin his fake romantic interest. Jin is totally happy to go along.
Also, Anda is going to be murdered. Or die.
Who is Anda? An Engineering student and friend of Jin’s, who is also an up-and-coming actor Pod and Bumm are obsessed with.
Somehow, Jin and Pod will be dealing with this murder/death and some mysterious sounds. Soon.
I’m intrigued by this juxtaposition of lighter college BL angst with dark murder. Also, the potential for something not just supernatural, but WEIRD and supernatural. It can’t always be ghosts and vampires.
Now that everything else has been set up, I can’t wait for it to start!
