Four couples is ambitious, and I’ll admit I’m not equally interested in every one of them.
Thanks to Jeff and Alan, I’m most interested in Talay and Sun. Sun is a writer with writer’s block who wants to hire Talay to be his lover/muse/something like that. Talay isn’t interested because He Doesn’t Believe In Love.
Not believing in love always seems silly to me, but it also makes me eager to see Talay fall HARD.
Next in line for me is Phatee and Ranne. Pop, who played bad(ish) guys in Pit Babe and I’m The Most Beautiful Count, gets to be a quiet, gloomy, musically inclined romantic lead, Phatee. Ranne wants him to join his failing boy band group so they stop failing.
I’m hoping they’ll be a fun grumpy/sunshine pairing.
Third on my list is Vann and Rakkhun. Milk is familiar from Pit Babe, but I’m interested in this story ’cause ghost. I like ghosts, but Rakkhun’s ghost won’t let him keep a boyfriend, so he doesn’t like them. To help him get rid of this haunting problem, he hires Vann.
Vann… like dinosaurs? And money. Like I said, interested in them for the ghost.
Tangmo and Yoyeh are last on my list. I enjoyed hating Otto’s character in Goddess Bless You From Death, but they seem to be an exes getting back together story. That’s not so much my thing, but I’m willing to change my mind once the story gets going.
At the end of the 16 episodes, we’ll see what order I put them in!
